Lufthansa Technik AG of Hamburg and Pepperl+Fuchs GmbH of Mannheim have launched an equally owned joint venture named 3D.aero GmbH to research, develop and sell innovative automation solutions for the aviation industry. Moreover, it will work for the digitalisation of workshops. It will be headquartered at the ZAL TechCenter in Hamburg-Finkenwerder which will enable 3D.aero to network with other aviation companies.
