Boeing names Anne Toulouse as interim Senior Vice President of Communications:
18 September, 2018: Boeing has selected Anne Toulouse, current Boeing vice president of Global Brand Management to replace Phil Musser, senior vice president of Communications, on an interim basis until a permanent successor is named.
Toulouse joined Boeing in 1989 as media relations manager in Huntington Beach, California, at what was then McDonnell Douglas. In 1996, she served as director of Communications at the same location, leading media relations, advertising, employee communications, community relations and marketing communications efforts. From 1999 through 2005, she served as vice president, Corporate Identity and Advertising, followed by the roles of vice president, Business Operations, from 2005 through 2008, and vice president of Employee Communications, from 2008 through 2014 when she assumed her current job.
“Anne brings nearly 30 years of diverse company experience to the role, including leadership positions in media relations, employee communications, and global brand management and advertising, among other key areas,” said Dennis Muilenburg, Boeing chairman, president and CEO. “She’s a natural leader who’s committed to functional excellence, developing our people and serving our customers’ needs.”
