Safran to support Play’s Airbus A320neo nacelle fleet

Safran Nacelles, a French multinational company that designs, develops and manufactures aircraft engines as well as various aerospace equipment and components have signed a 12-year agreement with Play for the support of the nacelles of their 15 Airbus A320neo powered by CFM LEAP-1A turbofan engines. Play, an Icelandic low-cost airline currently operates 7 aircraft. 8 more will join the fleet in the years to come. CFM is a 50/50 joint company between Safran Aircraft Engines and GE.
