Thompson Aero Seating, a company that designs, engineers and manufactures premium, business-class and First Class aircraft seating, has announced the company’s plans for the construction of a world-class Dynamic Test Facility (DTF) in Northern Ireland. The new facility will be built with an investment of £7.5 million. The facility will catapult Thompson into a new era of premium development and innovation of aircraft seating.
Construction works have already begun to extend the premises for the DTF at the Thompson brownfield site in Banbridge, County Down, Northern Ireland and are planned to complete in Spring 2023. The test equipment is to be installed in the Summer of 2023 and testing is due to commence in the Autumn of 2023.
