Pratt & Whitney Canada has announced the selection of its PT6A-52 engine by Piper Aircraft Inc. to power the Piper M700 Fury aircraft. This marks the first time the PT6A-52 engine will be used to power a single-engine turboprop.
Pratt & Whitney Canada, a business unit of Raytheon Technologies (RTX), has enjoyed a long-standing collaboration with Piper Aircraft, having supplied 12 different PT6A engine models for various Piper aircraft over the years.
