20 November, 2018: Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen has signed a five-year agreement with Asiana Airlines for technical support on V2500 thrust reverser. Under the terms of the agreement, Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen will support Asiana Airlines in developing its in-house capabilities for the V2500 thrust reverser and other related components by providing technical training, tools and equipment as well as on-site support.
The aim is to establish a flexible and mutually beneficial cooperation based on the respective expertise and needs of both companies and to expand their relationships. With the quality standards and experience of Lufthansa Technik Shenzhen, Asiana Airlines will take a major step towards building its own repair capabilities instead of outsourcing the services.
