14 November, 2018: AMERON MASS Systems, a pioneer in the development of high-performance aerospace and defence components, has secured FAA-PMA approval for a fire extinguisher cartridge, part number M446582. The cartridge is a direct replacement for the OEM part on the Gulfstream Galaxy fire extinguisher.
MASS Systems, the OEM division of AMETEK Ameron, specialises in high-rate discharge fire extinguishing systems for military and commercial aircraft, including all aspects of fire extinguishing systems, such as, fill fittings, rupture discs and pressure gauges. Those components are developed, manufactured and assembled by MASS Systems at its Baldwin Park, California, facility
