7 December, 2018: Albastar, the Spanish charter airline, has chosen Commsoft to support its airline operations with OASES, its industry-leading MRO IT system.
OASES is structured in a modular format to provide maximum flexibility and scalability and Albastar has chosen the Core, Airworthiness, Materials, Planning and Production modules with an option to add the Line Maintenance Control module at a later stage. All modules will be accessed through Commsoft’s Private Cloud service, avoiding any need for the airline to invest in new hardware.

Albastar has a fleet of four Boeing B737-800 and two B737-400 aircraft. Over 600,000 passengers are flown each year to over 140 destinations. The airline is a member of the AIRE Association in Brussels.
