Boeing plans to set up a new research centre in the Republic of Korea by mid-2018 which will focus on accelerating autonomy, artificial intelligence, avionics, analytics, smart cabin, smart factory and other technologies for future aerospace products. The company is currently in discussion with the Korean government regarding the centre opening.
