9 August2019: Virgin Atlantic Airways is all set to become Lufthansa Technik's launching customer for base maintenance checks on the Boeing 787.
At Lufthansa Technik Shannon Limited which is the company's Irish overhaul facility, the last in a series of six contracted 787 airplanes was just re-delivered to the carrier. The scope of work for each aircraft consists of a C1-Check plus different modifications and additional repair work.
