MTU Maintenance, the provider of customized solutions for aero engines, has announced that the company has signed an exclusive four-year contract with Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of V2500-A5 engines. The agreement signed between the two companies covers comprehensive MRO services for the engines, LRU support, engine trend monitoring and on-site services. The contract also includes spare engine support for Gulf Air’s V2500-powered Airbus A321ceo aircraft.
