May 22, 2018: Volga-Dnepr Technics Moscow (VDTM), a business unit of Volga-Dnepr Group, has completed the certification of a line maintenance station in Liege, Belgium, for aircraft registered in Bermuda. As one of the largest Russian MRO providers, it is now able to carry out scheduled line maintenance for B737-300/400/500, B747-400 and B747-8 aircraft. Approved scope of work includes daily maintenance and defect elimination.
“The set-up of the line maintenance station in Liege is a huge step forward for us because it makes accessible the European maintenance market for B737-300/400/500, B747-400 and B747-8 aircraft. Our employees managed to accomplish the whole certification process in a record-breaking five months, half of which was spent on the preparation and provision of facilities with the necessary equipment. We intend to expand a range of services with a focus on quality and timely fulfillment of commitments,” said Pavel Tereschenkov, VDTM general director.
