13 July, 2018: MTU Maintenance Canada, the North American member of MTU Maintenance network of companies has celebrated the redelivery of the first V2500 engine for IAE International Aero Engines AG (“IAE”) in Vancouver. The engine falls under the contract between IAE and MTU last year that sees MTU Maintenance Canada serving V2500 aftermarket customers. The V2500 is the engine that powers the A320ceo family.
“MTU Maintenance performed over one third of all V2500 shop visits worldwide in 2017– making it the number one service provider globally,” says Michael Schreyögg, Chief Program Officer, MTU Aero Engines.
