Raytheon Technologies to support Full Rate Production for TCTS Increment II for the U.S. Navy

Collins Aerospace, a business under Raytheon Technologies, has announced that it will fulfill the full-rate production contract recently awarded by the U.S. Navy for the Tactical Combat Training System – Increment II (TCTS II), which serves as the Air Combat Training System (ACMI) for the U.S. Navy. This contract encompasses both airborne and ground subsystems and will support the deployment requirements across various U.S. Navy training ranges.

Flight tests conducted on F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft validated the TCTS II system’s long-range air-to-air and air-to-ground networking capabilities, facilitating real-time data exchanges. The system boasts an open architecture design, robust datalink, high encryption capability, and significant computing power. By leveraging this advanced technology, TCTS II will serve as the foundation for next-generation training scenarios that integrate live, virtual, and constructive entities.
