Rolls-Royce secures FAA type certification for Pearl 700 engines

 Rolls-Royce, the renowned British engineering company, has proudly announced that its Pearl 700 engine, exclusively designed for Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.’s latest business aircraft models, the Gulfstream G700 and G800, has received official certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This remarkable achievement further solidifies Rolls-Royce’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge aviation solutions. The Pearl 700 engine was meticulously developed at the Rolls-Royce Centre of Excellence for Business Aviation Engines in Dahlewitz, Germany. Custom-designed to power Gulfstream’s newest products, it empowers these aircraft to undertake ultra-long-range missions at nearly the speed of sound. The engine had previously earned its type certification from the European Union’s Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in September 2022, marking a significant milestone in its journey.
