Safran to provide landing gear system for Bell tiltrotor under US Army’s FLRAA project

 Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, has officially joined Bell’s tiltrotor aircraft program, which is part of the US Army’s Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) project. Under this contract, Safran Landing Systems will be responsible for designing and developing a fully integrated landing system for the FLRAA program. The US Army’s selection of Bell for the FLRAA project was announced at the end of 2022, marking a significant development in the military aviation sector.
