Phase II of flight operations from Munich to begin soon:
2 June 2020:Munich airport is geared to open its second phase of flight operations from July. However all arrivals and departures are operated from Terminal 2 until further notice. All operations, right from arrival at the airport to departure are following stringent measures to avoid the risk of COVID-19 pandemic.
The following flights will be operated from Munich airport in coming weeks.
Lufthansa will start flying to a large number of destinations starting mid-June.
- Regular flights to Brussels, Milan, Rome, Vienna, and Zurich.
- Will reopen Chicago-Munich route
- Three weekly flights to Tel Aviv
- Flights to long-haul destinations like San Francisco, Montreal, Delhi, and Seoul to open up soon.
- Planning to fly to 30 European destinations once back on regular schedule.
