StandardAero is one of the world’s largest independent providers of services including engine and airframe MRO, engine component repair, engineering services, interior completions and paint applications, has acquired Western Jet Aviation, which also operates a facility at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport in Florida. One of the busiest business aviation airports in the world, Van Nuys, California, is home to Western Jet Aviation, an independently owned business jet maintenance company that specialises in Gulfstream aircraft.
Western Jet Aviation is the 12th acquisition made by StandardAero since 2015. The company has a ten-acre footprint with over 120,000 square feet of hangar, shop, and office space, as well as a staff of almost 100 aviation professionals. This represents StandardAero’s first recent acquisition that concentrates on airframe/non-engine work. In addition to tip-to-tail maintenance and interior services for GIV and G200 through G650, Western Jet Aviation is a certified repair station that also provides heavy avionics support on numerous other well-known business aviation aircraft.
