Air Corsica to receive two additional ATR 72-600s

Air Corsica, the leading Corsican airline, and ATR have announced a firm agreement for two ATR 72-600 aircraft that were first placed at the Paris Air Show. By fully replacing its entire fleet of ATR-500 series aircraft with the newest model of turboprops, Air Corsica has shown that it is dedicated to sustainability, regional connectivity, and operational excellence.

By the time the two planes are delivered in the first half of 2024, Air Corsica will have completely standardized its regional fleet. With seven ATR 72-600 aircraft, each equipped with the newest PW127XT engines, the airline will be able to optimize CO2 emissions, operating costs, comfort, and dependability of its connecting flights between Nice and Marseille and Corsica’s four airports, all while delivering an excellent public service.
