SR Technics, a Swiss-based global leader in aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, has announced the appointment of Vincent Metz as Vice President Business Development Europe. In this strategic role, Metz will leverage his extensive experience in the aviation sector to drive SR Technics’ market growth and strengthen its presence across Europe. Beyond aviation, Metz has made significant contributions in the train sector, serving as interim Chief Technology Officer at Ermewa SA. In this capacity, he led the restructuring of their MRO operation, showcasing his versatility and leadership in complex operational environments.
Metz brings to SR Technics a wealth of knowledge garnered over two decades in the aviation industry. His distinguished career includes key roles at Air France – KLM, where he served as the Vice President of Strategy, Marketing, and Communications. His experience spans various facets of MRO, with notable positions such as Director of Component Repair at KLM and Product Sales Director for Air France Industries. In 2020, Metz ventured into the realm of sustainable aviation solutions, contributing his expertise to Smart Airport Systems. Subsequently, he founded Strategy2Fly, a consultancy firm aimed at driving innovation in the aviation sector.
