Major promotions swing at Fargo Jet Center:
22 April 2020: Rick Omang has been promoted to Director of Operations and Bobby Meyers has been promoted to Chief Pilot at Fargo Jet Center (FJC). They will be responsible for maintaining safe and professional flight operations by ensuring the charter fleet is maintained to the highest degree of standards, in addition to conducting pre and post-flight duties, and management of the hiring, scheduling, and training of all charter pilots.
"Rick & Bobby's diverse aviation background and knowledge of flight operations make them a great fit for these leadership positions," says Jim Sweeney, President of Fargo Jet Center. "They understand the company's safety culture, policies and procedures, and demonstrate the leadership and ambition to strengthen, grow, and improve our operation."
Omang has been with the FJC charter department for six years and has more than 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. He has flown over 5,000 hours and has pilot experience in a wide range of aircraft including F-16, C-21, Lear 60, B737, and King Air.
Meyers has been a part of FJC for seven years, holding positions on the flightline, as a flight instructor, and in the charter department, and has 15 years of experience in the aviation industry.
