Rolls-Royce, the world’s second-largest maker of aircraft engines has delivered the 1,000th BR725 engine to its customer Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. The milestone 1000th engine was developed and assembled at Rolls-Royce’s business aviation headquarters in Dahlewitz, Germany, and has been shipped to Gulfstream in Savannah, Georgia, USA.
The BR725 engine exclusively powers Gulfstream’s highly successful ultra-long-range jets, the Gulfstream G650 and Gulfstream G650ER business aircraft. Since it entered into service in the year 2012, the G650 ultra-long-range aircraft family has established a reputation for excellent reliability, efficiency and speed, all combined with outstanding environmental performance.
