Sky Power forms alliance with Partnership between and Cavok UAS for European VTOL convertible UAV

Sky Power GmbH, a leading manufacturer of 2-stroke combustion and Wankel engines for unmanned aerial systems (UAS), has joined forces with Cavok UAS, a premier professional drone manufacturer based in France. This partnership aims to produce European-made drones and showcase the region’s capacity in large UAV production. Sky Power’s propulsion portfolio includes TRL9 fuel injection, carburetor, hybrid, and heavy fuel engine systems, catering to UAS with a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) ranging from 25 to 120kg. The engines are manufactured in Germany using cutting-edge technology, ensuring reliability and performance.

On the other hand, Cavok UAS specializes in a wide range of electrical and internal combustion drones for security, logistics, and industrial applications with MTOW between 2 and 1360kg. Their objective of producing European-made drones led them to choose Sky Power’s SP-110 FI TS propulsion system for their CK50 VTOL convertible UAV. The SP-110 FI TS propulsion system empowers the CK50 with impressive flight endurance, allowing it to fly over 10.5 hours, fully leveraging the UAV’s high efficiency design.
