Diamond Aircraft has announced that Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a prestigious institution known for its aeronautical training programs, has chosen the DA42-VI for its fleet renewal to enhance multi-engine training at its Daytona Beach, Florida campus. The university has signed a contract for the acquisition of 12 new DA42-VI aircraft, which are expected to be delivered in 2024.
Diamond Aircraft’s partnership with Embry-Riddle has been longstanding, with the university being at the forefront of aeronautical training for decades. The DA42-VI, with its all-composite design, environmentally friendly and efficient jet fuel piston engines, and Garmin G1000 NXi glass cockpits, is well-suited to meet the university’s training needs.
