21 May 2020: FlightSafety’s fifth G650 training centre at Dallas is using the latest FS1000 simulator, the sixth one built by the company so far. It includes a CrewView collimated glass mirror display, VITAL 1150 Visual System, electric Motion Cueing System and advanced instructor operating station. It also features tightly integrated computer hardware and software across subsystems which allows for more accurate and higher fidelity simulation than found in other current and previous generation simulators.

Encouraging younger pilots to make full use of this training simulator Nathan Speiser, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing said, “Our customers who fly the G650 can now benefit from a wide variety of courses in Dallas using this new advanced technology simulator. They include our industry-leading series of Advanced Training Courses, Required Navigation Performance Authorization Required (RNP AR), Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) Touchdown, and Rollout, as well as initial and recurrent training. We also offer the ground school portion of recurrent training online through our instructor-led LiveLearning system.”

FlightSafety has been training the complete line of Gulfstream aircraft for over five decades now. Training is delivered by highly experienced and qualified instructors using close to 30 full flight simulators as well as other advanced training devices and equipment.
