uAvionix Corporation, a Leading avionics provider has announced the approval of its AV-Mag remote magnetometer for the AV-30-C Display by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for installation on certified aircraft covered by the AV-30-C STC. This recent approval will offer better navigation and an improved directional gyro performance through magnetic aiding, making flying safer for thousands of AV-30-C users.
The AV-Mag is designed to improve the directional gyro performance of the AV-30-C Display, enhancing navigation and the safety of the flying experience. The easy installation and configuration process means that the AV-Mag can be quickly mounted and calibrated for use. The AV-30-C version 2.3.9 software update is required and will be available on the uAvionix website. The shipments of AV-Mag will begin soon, starting with pre-orders.
