General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) and Huneed Technologies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the production of a flat panel array for GA-ASI’s Lynx® and Eagle-Eye Multi-mode Radar systems on October 18, 2023, at ADEX (Seoul International Aerospace & Defence Exhibition).
The MQ-9A Reaper and MQ-20 Avenger® versions of GA-ASI’s range of Unmanned Aircraft Systems employ the Lynx radar, while the MQ-1C Grey Eagle Extended Range (ER) and 25M models use Eagle-Eye. For the radar products made by GA-ASI, a new common radar antenna subsystem will be created using Huneed’s flat panel array technology.
