Qatar Airways has joined forces with Starlink, becoming the largest airline to collaborate with the SpaceX-owned satellite internet service. In the future, Qatar Airways will offer complimentary high-speed, low-latency internet connectivity on specific aircraft and routes, enhancing the passenger experience.
Once implemented, this collaboration will provide passengers with ultra-fast Wi-Fi speeds of up to 350 Megabits per second, enabling a range of internet-based services, including video streaming, gaming, web browsing, and more. Accessing the service will be simple, with a one-click access process.
