RTX’s Pratt & Whitney Canada to support Angola’s TAAG Airlines’ PW150A engines

Pratt & Whitney Canada, a RTX Company and TAAG Angola Airlines E.P., the state-owned airline of Angola, have signed a six-year Fleet Management Program (FMP) contract. This contract provides engine maintenance services for TAAG’s PW150A engines, which power their fleet of ATR Dash 8-400 regional turboprop aircraft. The contract is structured to allow Pratt & Whitney to tailor coverage to TAAG’s specific operating conditions. Pratt & Whitney operates under the RTX business umbrella.

The program includes Pratt & Whitney’s proprietary oil-analysis technology and its FAST diagnostic and prognostic solution. It captures, analyzes, and transmits comprehensive flight data intelligence to the customer within minutes of engine shutdown.
