Textron Aviation begins flight test on Beechcraft Denali aircraft with FAA approval

Textron Aviation’s Beechcraft Denali, a single-engine turboprop aircraft, is making significant strides as it enters the certification flight test phase, following the attainment of FAA Type Inspection Authorization in early 2024. This phase has allowed the flight test program to gain a deeper understanding of the aircraft’s performance, strength, and durability. Recently, the Denali completed the initial on-aircraft certification ground and flight testing of its avionics systems, marking a crucial step forward in its development.

Manufactured by Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company, the Beechcraft Denali has three flight test aircraft in its fleet, which have collectively logged nearly 2,000 flight test hours across more than 830 flights. The program is progressing steadily toward its anticipated FAA certification, expected to be achieved in 2025.
