Magnetic MRO, a member of the Magnetic Group, has inaugurated a new hangar in Tallinn dedicated to line maintenance services. The expansion of the hangar will boost the company’s line maintenance work capacity by 40%. The newly opened facility adds an additional 2000 square meters of hangar space to Magnetic MRO. This expansion also allows for a 30% increase in heavy line maintenance work. The hangar is well-equipped to handle various types of line maintenance projects, including A-checks, return to service (RTS) procedures, landing gear and engine changes, modifications, and similar tasks.
The construction of the light hangar was necessitated by the growing demand for base maintenance services, which typically require longer turnaround times and were occupying most of the space in the existing hangar. This situation left limited slots available for line maintenance operations.
