3 September 2019: Kuwait Airways has received its first A320neo aircraft. The delivery marks an important step in the airline's ambitious fleet renewal and growth plans, which will introduce 15 A320neo aircraft to its fleet in the coming years, following a purchase that was signed in 2014.
The new A320neo will be joining Kuwait Airways 7 A320ceos. The new aircraft is equipped with CFM International LEAP-1A engines and has a spacious two-class layout which includes 12 business class and 122 economy class seats. It also has the latest inflight entertainment technology.
