26 September 2019: StandardAero Component Services, situated in Cincinnati, Ohio, has shipped its first GE90-115 engine fan case module (FCM) unit for one of its airline customers.

The GE90-115 FCM is one of the largest aircraft engine components in the industry and the GE90-115 is one of the world's largest jet engines, powering Boeing 777 aircraft.

"Our team implemented a very creative solution to accelerate our ability to support our customer's requirements," said Rick Stine, President of StandardAero Components, Helicopters and Accessories. "Working with both the local OEM and customer to eliminate long-lead tooling delays was one of the keys to our successful completion of the FCM and we anticipate winning additional volumes of work from more customers."

"StandardAero worked very closely with the customer throughout the entire industrialisation phase. Open communications, great coordination and periodic on-site review led to strong teamwork to meet customer expectations for delivery and quality of the FCM," Stine added.
