MRO Insider launches AOG mobile application preview for NBAA-BACE:

18 September 2019:MRO Insider has unveiled the company's AOG mobile application. The app will simplify the AOG process by "pinging" AOG providers based on aircraft location, permitting providers to quickly respond with an hourly rate, ETA to aircraft, and additional information needed. Aircraft owner/operators will be able to see this information along with customer ratings/reviews and can also view/download CRS and drug programme paperwork. The app can be used from a smartphone, tablet, or desktop computer.

Andy Nixon, Co-founder of MRO Insider said, "Our team began developing the app based on the feedback we've received from owner/operators as well as AOG providers. Allowing AOG searches to be performed efficiently with one platform instead of downloading and learning multiple facility apps will streamline the process." He continued by stating, "With a world-wide airport database, we had the ability to quickly build out our current AOG search from our website. By initiating this app, it will save owner/operators time and money by removing the need to pick up the phone or jump on Google; one ping and the AOG providers will respond to them with a competitive rate."
