Charles Wemaere named Vice President, Worldwide Spares of Dassault Aviation

7 January 2019: Charles Wemaere has been appointed as Vice President, Worldwide Spares of Dassault Aviation. In this new role, he will be responsible for spare parts strategy and logistics efforts for the global Falcon fleet.

Pierre Thielin, VP, Worldwide Customer Service will be his reporting head. Previously, Wemaere served as Deputy Manager to Serge Elias, the former VP Worldwide Spares, who is retiring.

"I am confident that Charles' dynamic approach, attention to detail and proficiency in dealing with challenging tasks will enable us to continue to improve and remain number one in this essential activity."

In 2011, Wemaere joined Dassault Aviation as a Sales Director and was responsible for spare parts in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. He played an important role to regroup all Falcon spares resources in a new facility in Bordeaux-Merignac, and to build a vast state-of-the-art distribution centre in Tremblay, near Paris Charle.
