Stephen Henwood joins Aerogility as Board Director:
20 January 2020: Aerogility has appointed Stephen Henwood as one of its Board of Directors.
Stephen has joined Aerogility again after six years as Chair of the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI).
He worked for Aerogility from 2010 as board director until 2014. He also worked at BAE Systems, where he held roles including Group Managing Director of International Partnerships and Group Director of Financial Control and Accounting.
Aerogility's CEO Gary Vickers said, "We are delighted to welcome someone of Stephen's wide-ranging experience back to the company. His deep understanding of the aviation industry and the practical application of leading-edge technologies to aircraft operations will be invaluable as we grow."
Stephen comments, "Since I last sat on the Aerogility Board, the company has advanced at an impressive rate.
"As well as building a strong reputation in the defence sector, where fleet readiness and through-life cost control are critical, the company has also made impressive inroads into the civil aviation market. Major carriers such as easyJet and Scandinavian Airlines have embraced the innovations that Aerogility brings to predictive maintenance and planning." said Stephen. "The capability to forecast fleet management and optimise maintenance workloads is something that all airlines aspire to.
