15 January 2020:AIESL Trivandrum Facility has received the approval from FAA. The facility was put through a strict inspection for its facilities covering B737 Base Maintenance, Wheels and Brakes, Aircraft Batteries, Oxygen and associated areas / sections by the US Regulator- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) inspectors, Devon S. Erriah and Joseph Walko.
A contract has already signed between the AIESL TRV MRO and SpiceJet for performing C-checks on their B737 NG aircraft at Trivandrum Facility. Aside from this, the network line stations under the administration of this MRO has captured many foreign airlines for their line maintenance jobs.
AIESL is now targeting to capture more MRO business from the Indian private airlines and foreign carriers as it has received the FAA approval.
