Aequs Aerospace sets up special taskforce to fight Covid-19:

27 April 2020:Aequs Aerospace, the first Indian aerospace company to deliver manufacturing value stream on three continents India, United States, and France has resumed operations at its SEZ in Belgaum. The government of Karnataka has exempted the aerospace manufacturing industry from the countrywide lockdown. As a part of India's proactive approach to the pandemic aerospace and defence companies along with essential goods manufacturers have been granted permission to resume operations.

Complying with the government norms, the teams at Aequs are working proactively to ensure minimal disruption of operations while simultaneously protecting employees from potential risks. They have set up a dedicated Covid-19 taskforce, which was mandated to monitor the situation closely and develop a decisive business response and action plan.

This taskforce studied global best practices and developed a business continuity proposal. The proposal is focused on providing a highly safe work environment for employees, while also enabling us to maintain output levels and honour commitments to customers.

By adhering to strict rules of sanitization, protection, social distancing, awareness and mitigation Aequs is working towards creating a safe working environment for all the employees.

Comprehensive preventive measures and strict guidelines have been established across all business functions and are customized based on various roles such as corporate, manufacturing or administration.
