Air Lease Corporation leases two new Airbus A321neo LR Aircraft to HiSky

Air Lease Corporation, an American aircraft leasing company has announced it has signed long-term lease placements with HiSky. The newly signed agreement between the two companies is for two new Airbus A321neo LR aircraft. The delivery of the aircraft to the European carrier is Scheduled for March 2023 from ALC’s order book with Airbus. The two newly ordered A321neo LRs will join the one Airbus A319 and four A320s currently on lease to HiSky from Air Lease Corporation (ALC) and the company’s managed vehicles, Blackbird I and II. 



“ALC is pleased to announce this placement with HiSky for two new A321neo LRs,” said David Beker, Senior Vice President, Air Lease Corporation. “HiSky launched in 2020 with used A320 family aircraft exclusively provided by ALC and they have grown their business consistently since then. The airline is now ready to take the next step in their growth plans and we are happy to support this expansion with two brand-new A321neo LRs,”he further added.

The A321neo LR is the newest member of the fleet, which was launched in August 2019. The can aircraft facilitate long-range routes of up to 7400km or 4000nm. The A321LR has 16 seats in Business Class and 168 seats in the economy cabin. The aircraft delivers fuel savings of up to 15%. The A321neo carries up to 244 passengers, with a maximum range of 4,000 nmi (7,400 km) for the long-range version when carrying no more than 206 passengers.
