StandardAero, a prominent player in the aviation industry as one of the largest independent maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers, is gearing up to support Gogo Business Aviation’s network migration. As Gogo prepares for its transition from the Classic ATG (Air-to-Ground) system to the AVANCE system, StandardAero is taking proactive steps to facilitate this process. With a long-standing partnership that spans over 19 years, StandardAero has been a top installing and certifying dealer for Gogo, having successfully installed more than 455 Gogo systems during this period. Recognizing the impending demand for upgrades, StandardAero is allocating capacity across its extensive enterprise to accommodate the network migration.
To streamline the installation process, StandardAero has introduced a slot program specifically for Gogo Classic ATG customers. Through this program, customers can reserve scheduled slots for installation at four of StandardAero’s U.S.-based facilities: Augusta, GA; Houston, TX; Springfield, IL; and Van Nuys, CA. This strategic approach ensures that maintenance downtime is minimized, and customers’ connectivity upgrade needs are efficiently met.
