C&L Aviation Group disassembles newly acquired ATR 42 jet

 C&L Aerospace, a prominent entity within the C&L Aviation Group, is reinforcing its commitment to providing extensive support for ATR aircraft with its recent acquisition and disassembly of an ATR 42-500. The acquired parts encompass a range of critical components including engines, landing gear, prop blades, leading edges, and flight controls. This strategic move marks the ninth ATR disassembly undertaken by the company within the past three years, showcasing their dedication to bolstering the availability of essential ATR components.


C&L Aerospace has been progressively enhancing its ATR and Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127 series engine support program over a span of years. This comprehensive support program encompasses various facets including PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) development, provision of rotables, leading edges, propeller support, engine support, consignment, and pool agreements. This extensive array of services, combined with previous substantial multi-million-dollar parts acquisitions and ATR teardown initiatives, equips C&L with a substantial and diverse inventory capable of comprehensively serving ATR operators.
