Kellstrom Aerospace, a prominent global player in commercial aftermarket aviation lifecycle solutions, has significantly broadened its portfolio of used serviceable materials (USM) through recent investments and partnerships. These strategic moves aim to bolster the company’s ability to meet the material needs of airlines and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers.
The recent investments and partnerships have resulted in a substantial increase in Kellstrom’s inventoryof engine and airframe components for various aircraft types, including the CFM International CF6-80C2, CFM56-7B, CFM56-5B, Boeing B737NG, and Airbus A321. These assets are being sourced through disassembling aircraft to address the supply chain challenges currently facing the commercial aftermarket.
