Airbus has officially commenced the construction of a new A400M maintenance center in Wunstorf, which will serve as a vital hub for servicing and maintaining the German Air Force’s A400M military transport aircraft. During the traditional groundbreaking ceremony of the new center, Airbus Defence and Space CEO Michael Schöllhorn, along with prominent representatives from politics and the German Armed Forces, marked the launch of this important project.
The A400M is a significant asset for the German Armed Forces and has been in reliable service for over a decade. The new maintenance center in Wunstorf will strengthen the cooperation between Airbus and the German Armed Forces, further enhancing the availability and operational capabilities of the A400M.
