Embraer signs services and support contracts with African and European carriers:

18 October 2019:Embraer has signed new maintenance contracts and the extension of agreements with African and European carriers, securing customers an efficient operation with the state-of-the art support from the original manufacturer through the TechCare programme.

Embraer's Pool Program provides full repair coverage for components and parts, airframe maintenance, and unlimited access to a large stock of components at the company's distribution centers. Operators can significantly save on repairs and inventory costs, there will be reduction in required warehousing space and resources needed for repair management, while ultimately providing guaranteed performance levels.

Among customers from Europe, Switzerland's Helvetic Airways has expanded the pool contract adding seven E190s to the current agreement that already supports four aircraft. France's Pan Europeenne Air Service has been a pool customer for over ten years and has renewed their support contract for their ERJ 135 and ERJ 145 jets. UK's Flybe, a long-standing pool customer, renewed the pool contract and will continue to benefit from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) component support to their entire E175 and E195 fleet.

In Africa, Zambia's Royal Air Charters has signed a new support contract for the recently acquired ERJ-145.

"We are humbled to sign and renew these pool agreements which are an important endorsement by these key customers in Africa and Europe for the superior quality and scope of Embraer's portfolio of services," said Johann Bordais, President & CEO, Embraer Services & Support. "It reinforces our commitment to secure fleet availability and reduce costs, enabling our customers to outperform."
