16 October 2019:KLM UK Engineering has signed a new airframe maintenance support contract with Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS).
The heavy maintenance contract will start from its Norwich base on their Boeing 737NG fleet from 2020. KLM UK Engineering has previously worked with SAS, providing heavy maintenance support on their Fokker 50 fleet.
Per Morstrom, Contract Manager CAMO at SAS said, "We are pleased to be working with KLM UK Engineering again and using their experience on the Boeing 737 product."
Graham Casbourne, Sales Manager at KLM UK Engineering Limited said, "We are delighted to have been awarded a long-term heavy maintenance agreement from SAS to support their Boeing 737NG fleet. SAS will be one of the first customers to be serviced in our newly built state of the art hangar and workshop facility and we look forward to welcoming them back to Norwich."
