FACC receives three-digit million order from Bombardier:
3 October 2019:FACC has secured an order from Bombardier Belfast and is expanding its customer portfolio. The company has placed an order with FACC for the production of thrust reverser trans cowl components for the A320neo aircraft family. With this current order, FACC has now extended its long-standing cooperation with Bombardier in the areas of cabin interiors and aerostructures consisting of engine nacelle components.
"We were able to demonstrate to Bombardier Belfast our marked competence as a key partner. I am grateful for the trust Bombardier has placed in us and am delighted that it is now also relying on high-tech from FACC for its aircraft engine nacelles," said Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC.
FACC demonstrated its outstanding expertise in component design for manufacture as well as ultra-modern production facilities to Bombardier. The project marks FACC's first partnership with Bombardier Belfast.

Through its cooperation with Bombardier Belfast, FACC is further expanding its market share on the A320 aircraft family and benefits from the global success of the aircraft," explained Gunter Nelbock, Vice President Engines & Nacelle of FACC. "Stable growth of the FACC Engines & Nacelles division and the creation of secure long-term jobs in the region are thus guaranteed."
