Saab to deliver two Saab 340 airborne early warning aircraft for the Polish defence forces

 Saab, the Swedish aerospace and defence company, has secured a significant contract from Poland’s Ministry of National Defence for the delivery of two Saab 340 Airborne Early Warning (AEW) aircraft. The order, valued at approximately SEK 600 million (Swedish Krona), covers the period from 2023 to 2025. The two Saab 340 aircraft will be equipped with Saab’s state-of-the-art Erieye radar, forming a powerful airborne early warning system. The contract also includes ground equipment and essential in-country logistics and support services.


Saab has maintained a strong relationship with the Polish Ministry of National Defence for several years, and this new order further solidifies their partnership. The Swedish company is honored to contribute to the strengthening of Poland’s Armed Forces by providing advanced airborne early warning and network-based solutions.
