Boeing to deliver 21 additional E-model Apache defence helicopters to US Army and allies

Boeing has secured a contract modification from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to manufacture an additional 21 AH-64E Apaches for the U.S. Army and an international customer. This new award is a modification to the multiyear contract that Boeing was granted in March 2023, and it raises the total number of Apaches to be produced under this contract to 205. The AH-64E Apache is a highly versatile and advanced attack helicopter, widely recognized for its unmatched capabilities that cater to the evolving needs of defense forces. With this contract modification, Boeing reaffirms the significance and demand for this exceptional aircraft.

As part of the contract, the U.S. Army will receive five additional remanufactured E-model Apaches, while an international operator will acquire 16 AH-64Es through the DoD’s Foreign Military Sales program. This reflects the continued trust and confidence in Boeing’s Apache platform from both domestic and international defense partners.
