Heart Aerospace with Crane to develop Electrical Power Distribution System for ES-30 aircraft

Heart Aerospace, a Swedish electric airplane manufacturer, has announced a collaborative partnership with Crane Aerospace & Electronics, a prominent aerospace and defense supplier. The collaboration aims to define the Electrical Power Distribution System for Heart’s ES-30 regional electric airplane. The Electrical Power Distribution System plays a crucial role in transporting the energy stored in the airplane’s batteries to various energy-consuming systems, including Flight Controls and Avionics. Crane A&E’s expertise in high-voltage power conversion systems and low-voltage control and distribution has led to its selection by Heart Aerospace for the Joint Definition Phase of the ES-30.

“Our selection on this program is a testament to the vision, strategy and investment we have made in our Electrical Power capabilities over the last five years, and we are excited to have this opportunity to work with Heart on the cutting edge of technology while contributing towards a sustainable future,” said Joseph Mundinger, VP/GM Sensing & Power Systems, Crane A&E.
