SkyAlyne to train Royal Canadian Air Force pilots and ACSOs under the FAcT Program

SkyAlyne, a partnership between Canadian companies CAE and KF Aerospace, has been designated as the preferred bidder by the Government of Canada to manage the future training program for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). The Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) contract is set to encompass all aspects of the necessary training and in-service support for Canadian military pilots, Air Combat Systems Officers (ACSOs), and Airborne Electronic Sensor Operators (AES Ops). The contract award is anticipated to take place in 2024.

The FAcT contract is an extensive and comprehensive training and in-service support agreement that includes all classroom instruction, simulator and flight training, as well as numerous on-site support activities and infrastructure services. It will replace and expand the existing training services currently managed through two separate contracts by SkyAlyne’s parent companies, KF Aerospace and CAE, in addition to in-house aircrew training delivery by the RCAF.
